Bidding Numbers

If attending the auction in person, bidding numbers are available on the day of the sale from the time the auction rooms open  You can register for a number until the end of the sale. If you have previously never registered with us, all you will need to supply us with is your name, address, postcode and telephone number and email address.

You have to obtain a new buyer number each time you attend a sale. There is no fee for registering.

If bidding online, you need to register through www.easyliveauction.com and follow the onscreen instructions.

First Time Buyers

Once you have obtained your buyer number you can bid on any lot in the sale. If you have never bid at auction before then it is advisable to watch the auctioneer for a few lots before your lot comes up so that you understand how the bidding progresses.

Do not be afraid to be bold in your bid and join the bidding early on so the auctioneer can establish your interest. If you think the auctioneer has not seen you then call out for his attention. If he misses your bid then you, unfortunately,  miss your lot.

Pre-Sale/Commission Bids

If you wish to bid in the sale but cannot attend the sale or do not wish to bid for yourself then we are happy to bid on your behalf with a pre-sale bid. Either complete one of our bidding cards and leave it at the office, or email your bids to  sales@tringmarketauctions.co.uk in good time before the commencement of the sale.

It is your responsibility to ensure the lot numbers and the descriptions you have written down are correct, as lot number takes preference over description when we place the bids. We will bid on your behalf as if you were in the saleroom, we will attempt to get you your lot for the lowest price possible.

You can also bid live online through easyliveauction.com, leave auto-bids through them, if desired or watch the sale live online.

Fine Art Sales

In addition to the above we can accept telephone bids which must be booked in advance with the auction office.
